10 Things Invented at Bell Labs AT&T you did not know about

You might be surprised to discover just how many things Alexander Graham Bells Laboratories invented that we use without thought of whom invented them....

1st and the most amazing was Bell's contributions to the aircraft industry. Bell co-founded the Aerial Experiment Association (AEA) with his wife, Mabel, in the fall of 1907. This dynamic team consisted of six people, including Mabel, the first woman in history to propose, establish, and fund a research group.

Aside from the revolutionary invention of the telephone Bell Labs later called Lucent did not just invent the telephone but many other amazing products.  Did you know that Bell Labs (AT&T) Invented UNIX operating system?  Unix is clearly one of the major forces in industry today with everything from Servers to smartphones powered in part by Unix.

Things change at Warp Speed and the innovation at AT&T / Bell Labs was no stranger to incredible things such as they invented Motion Pictures so that distraction of a Movie and popcorn could not be possible without Bell Labs.  Today we can look at sound innovations and the advent of HD Voice being used on Digital Voice Line™ in Phone Systems like VoiceOne Hybrid.  Bell Labs began independently developing technology to bring sound to motion pictures. Major studios balked and didn’t see the point. But Warner Brothers, then a smaller outfit, took a leap of faith.

Bell Labs ( ATT Phones) Invented the Alarm Cloud, a more accurate way of keeping time.  They also pioneered  UHF a powerful way to send TV Signals through the air to every home in its range. But why would you need to broadcast TV signals without TVs.  Lucent, also invented the Black and White TV the processor to today's HD TVs.

In the US AT&T worked with Great Britain to independently develop Radar.  So our national defense and ease of air travel can be also great gratitude of Bell Labs  AT&T (Lucent).  Even the first computers can give thanks to this pioneer of Telephones, with the invention of Vaccum Tubs the early components of Computers later followed by Solid-State Chips (SSD).

We often just think of AT&T, LUCENT, or Bell Labs as a phone inventor but they were so much more.

If you have an AT&T phone ( AT&T Spirt that you need replacement parts you can get those at AT&T Phones, and if you need Phone System Repairs you can get those at  AT&T Spirt Repair

We owe so much to the Telephone Inventors and Phone Companies.
